UPDATE!!

I know it's been forever since I've posted, but it's been a crazy summer and our only internet was our ipad which you can't update blogs with. But there is a few things to update everyone on. At the end of October we moved to Centerville, UT. Pat's level of care had increased after a heart attack she had in July and I could not provide the constant care she needed and care for my boys at the same time, so Josh took a job in Bountiful and here we are. He works at Heritage Place Assisted Living on the marketing team. He has loved the work he's been doing and is learning a lot about the senior care industry, which he hopes to build a career in.

Super Baby!!!!!!!!

Oh no!! Bennett's got it down. It's actually been pretty nice. He would want a toy but couldn't get it so he would whine until you got it for him, and now he just goes to it. He also now follows me from room to room, (which isn't a big deal in our two room apartment)but his knees are really red. Blake calls him "Super Babyyyy!!!"

Finally a SUNNY day!

After riding bikes at grandma's, the kids wanted to get wet at Kady's on the tramp with the sprinkler.

Relaxin'

After a long day of riding bikes the kids are pooped!!!

Boyz will be Boyz!!

It doesn't take much for Blake to make Bennett laugh.

Bennett's diaper had cookie monster on it, so the dork that I am, I said "COOKIE" the way cookie monster does and this is what I got...

Bennett mobile soon.

So we took this video last night of Bennett on his hands and knees for the first time. Even today he has improved a lot. Time to start baby proofing again.

Jumping Ya-hoo!

The teacher wasn't expecting Blake to spin into the water. A kid that jumped in before Blake, that can swim really well, did a spin move into the water and Blake had to try it. So Funny!!

Ice Cream Scoops

The teacher takes the kids one by one to do the strokes. This stroke is called ice cream scoops and it's Blake's favorite. This teacher has taken a real liking to Blake and it's been sweet to see how much she loves working with him.

Blake's swimming lessons

At the beginning of swim lessons they swim laps with a noodle, so this is Blake free- styling it. He loves his head under the water. The teacher today called him a beaver and I thought that discribes him perfect.

Bennett being entertained...

Benny was playing with this wrapper at the dollar store and he loved it so much so we got it on video.

Dying Easter eggs. Blake's favorite part was cracking them and eating them.

Cheese Ball?

Pat gave us a tub of cheese balls the same time that we rented "Alvin and the Chipmuncks." Blake loved the cheese ball part in the movie so we made this little movie. Kinda funny.

A New Vehicle!!

With two kids in our little Mazda, we decided to go big and get a minivan. It has been great and we are in love with minivans. It is a 2004 Chrysler Town and Country.

Life is Good!!

Well the biggest change in my life is that Bennett is sleeping through the night and goes to bed really good. His first night doing this was December 23rd, down in Sandy, UT. He now goes to bed about 9:00 and wakes up at 7:30. He is really smiley (especially just after eating), and is VERY healthy. He weighs about 16 lbs. now which is the 95th percentile. He holds his head up great now and loves his jumper. It won't be long before he's running around with his big brother. Blake can't wait. He's always asking anyone he sees to play with him. He started swimming lessons a few weeks ago and is really improving. He sure is not afraid of the water, but can't swim without his noodle yet. The teachers are pretty stern, (for safety reasons because there is anywhere from 10-16 kids in the class) but he still loves going to swimming lessons.
